Untuk kelas 8
Tulis essai tentang seseorang (boleh kamu sendiri, idola kamu, orang tua kamu, saudara kamu, teman kamu, atau siapapun itu) yang kamu anggap hebat.

Petunjuk:
1. Gunakan Ms. Word
2. Essai minimal terdiri dari 500 kata
3. Menggunakan ukuran kertas A4
4. Margin "Narrow"
5. Tambahkan border dan edit style dari paper kamu (boleh ganti warna background dan diberi motif, sesuai kreatifitas kamu)
6. Spasi 1,5
7. Gunakan font "Calibri"
8. Ukuran font untuk judul 18
9. Ukuran font untuk body 11

English Plus

Untuk kelas 7

Nah, untuk kelas 7 tugasnya masih tetap berkutat dengan novel Animal Farm tapi kali ini kita akan melanjutkan ke Chapter 5 dan Chapter 6. Jangan bosen-bosen membaca ya, karena melalui membaca kita akan dapat banyak sekali ilmu pengetahuan dan pengertian-pengertian.

Untuk tugasnya, seperti biasa, kita akan merangkum novel Animal Farm chapter 5 dan 6. Dalam merangkum atau summarizing, alangkah lebih bagusnya kalau kita memasukkan pokok ide yang ada dalam suatu bagian cerita dan menggabungkan dengan bagian cerita yang lain dalam novel tersebut. Kesinambungan atau coherence sangat berperan penting dalam kualitas summary atau rangkuman. Jadi kita harus tetep belajar walaupun dari awal memang sulit, tapi kita harus tetep semangat ya~

Pengumpulan terakhir untuk summarizing chapter 5 dan 6 adalah tanggal 2 November 2013 dan kirimkan tugas kalian via email ke hanyapandawalima@gmail.com

Untuk kelas 8

Nah, untuk kelas 8 tugasnya lumayan ada tantangannya nih... Tetep berkaitan dengan kebudayaan atau culture. Yup, Culture Talk : Cultures of the World.

Petunjuk:

1. Pilih satu budaya yang kamu sukai atau yang kamu ingin angkat sebagai tema

2. Temukan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang ada dalam budaya tersebut

3. Apakah ada perbedaan dengan kebudayaan kamu? Jelaskan.

4. Siapkan satu presentasi yang bagus.

5. Kenakan baju tradisional dari budaya yang kamu pilih. Misal, budaya Jepang dengan kimono mereka.

Presentasi akan dilakukan pada hari Jumat, 1 November 2013. Kalian pasti bisa melewati tantangan ini dengan sukses dan baik~

Untuk kelas 9

Kita akan membuat sebuah tutorial berbahasa inggris. Tutorial artinya sebuat petunjuk untuk melakukan suatu hal. Nah, tutorial tersebut akan berbentuk sebuah video dan akan di-upload ke Youtube.

Rangkaian kegiatan perminggu telah dipersiapkan sebagai berikut:

a. 11 Oktober 2013, kita harus menentukan tema tutorial dan mencari sebanyak mungkin materi.

b. 18 Oktober 2013, bawa seluruh perlengkapan tutorial untuk dibuat, disiapkan, dan diatur.

c. 25-26 Oktober 2013, Recording (Perekaman tutorial dalam bahasa inggris)

d. 27-31 Oktober 2013, Uploading ke Youtube

e. 1 November 2013, Launching video tutorial di sekolah.

Semoga project kita ini berjalan lancar dan menghasilkan karya yang luar biasa~

Nah, itu tadi adalah kumpulan tugas-tugas yang harus kalian kerjakan dalam term 3 ini. Terus berkarya dan jangan berhenti berpikir kreatif. Semangat dan berdoa pada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Academic Agenda Term 2 (2013 ~ 2014)

Hi, Accademics.

We already enter the second term, meaning there will be new assignments which you have to complete in order to fulfill the requirements to continue your study on the next level.

This second term is in shorter period than the first term. We will only spend less than a month for the second term. I hope all of you will work much more efficiently than before.

English Plus

Summarize the Animal Farm by George Orwell Chapter 3 ~ 4.

It will be much better if you summarize the novel using your own interpretation. Minimize the copy-pasting the novel.

Find a local story, myth, legend, folklore, folktale, or fairy tale from Great Britain. It could be from England, Scotland, or Wales. Choose one of them and summarize the story into your own interpretation.

Write down your interpretation into a good presentation (it prefers using a good design and pictures added).

The submission date is on September 23rd, 2013.

The presentation date is on September 27th, 2013.

Computer

Due to middle test is disabled. I would like to give assignments as your second term score.

Please explain the function of icons which lies on Home and Insert ribbon.

To-Do-List for My Absence

Hi boys and girls!

I'm so sorry on Thursday and Friday ( August 22nd and 23rd, 2013), I couldn't teach you because of I have important thing to do out of town. So, I'll give you the to-do-list to give you direction of activities that you have to do on these two days.

Here is the list:

Grade 7 English Plus:
1. Make sure all of you have an email. (do not forget to remember your username and password, note them)
2. Summarize the chapter 1 and 2 of Animal Farm novel.
3. If you finish summarizing the chapter 1 and 2, continue reading chapter 3.
4. You may use the computer with "Guest" account (Use them with full responsibility. I'll watch you!)
5. Keep the computer room neat and clean! Make up chairs, tables, and SHUT DOWN the computers when the class over!


Grade 8 English Plus:
1. You still have only 1 week before the submition date for the Term 1 assignment. (It's your last chance!)
2. Make sure you finish the project this week. Lateness is NOT tolerable.
3. You may use computer to find sources. (Use them with full responsibility!)
4. Team work is needed to do the assignment. Do not let your friend do the assignment alone.
5. Keep the computer room CLEAN! no rubbish or scrap paper or other things that make the room dirty.
6. SHUT DOWN the computer after you use them!

Grade 8 Computer:
1. You can login with "GUEST" account.
2. Open Microsoft Word and set the page become A4 size and Narrow margin.
3. Insert a border. Page Layouts > Border.
4. Change the background paper color and give effects. Page Layouts > Paper color & Fill Effects.
5. Insert the Page Number. Insert > Page Number.
6. Find articles on internet and put them in your Microsoft Word. Find at least 3 pages. (More than one article is okay)
7. Save the to the PC hardisk directory D:/
8. Make sure to finish them today.
9. Make up the chairs, tables, and SHUT DOWN the computer when the class over.


Grade 9 English Plus:
1. Summarize Sense and Sensibilty chapter 1,2,3. (It's the last week before the due date)
2. If you finish summarizing them, List characters who include in the first to third chapter with their characteristics.
3. Do it seriously, lateness is not tolerable. If you late to submit the assignment, ZERO (0) score will be yours.
4. Use dictionary or online dictionary (Use Oxford or Cambridge online dictionary.)
5. Make up the chairs and tables if the class over.
6. SHUT DOWN the computer after you use them.
